Smith Cauble was the son of Harrison Cauble from Lincoln County NC.
John Howard Gates was born Oct 22, 1920 he served in the United States Army he was killed in Victrolles France on Aug, 2 1945 during WWII while he and a friend were walking on what they beleived to be a train track that was no longer used.
