Unknown Man from the late 1800s
I have no idea if this picture is a Russell, an Edinger, or a Bailey ancestor. This was in the photo album of my great uncle James Bailey and only identified as an ancestor from Iowa area. Our ancestors were mainly in the Marion and Monroe Counties in Iowa. We would love to put a name to this and other photos's

Joseph and Maggie Harper and children: (sons)Elmer, Everett, Dale, Mace, and Harold, (daughters) Serene Vern Harper Bailey, Dolly Harper Olson and Anne Harper Lund

John Bailey Family
John Henry Bailey was born John Henry Edinger in 1862 in Marysville, Iowa. This picture is of John, his wife Edith Lawrence Bailey and their two children Johnny Lawrence Bailey and Myrtle Bailey. The boy between John and Edith is John's youngest brother, Albert Edinger. Edith died during the birth of their 3rd child, Ray Lawrence Bailey. Oldest son Johnny died at 9 years of age and is buried next to his parents. Edith married a Haney and then a Lenny.

Joseph Prohaska and his wife Ida Seidleman and their children: The names are shown on the photo - This pic was taken around 1895. Additional info on daughters: Josephine married a Dettrick and then a Stuchbury. Elizabeth married a Waldron. Ida married Will Hurt. Frances married a Taylor. Elva married Bert Derby. Additional info on sons: Frank never married. Andy married a lady named Hattie and lived in SD. Joseph married but died at the early age of 29 and had one daughter. Additonal info on parents: Joseph lost a leg in a farming accident. Married a lady much younger than himself after the death of Ida and died in TX in a sanitarium. Ida died falling off a hay wagon in 1899.
