William Learey had siblings Mary Anne Bonham Learey, Grace Emily (Learey) Billing, Gilbert Wilford Learey, Francis David Learey, Ethel Martha Learey, Bertha Isabella Learey, Eveline Ellen Learey, Francis David Leary, George Thomas Learey, Albert John Learey, Horace Herbert Learey, Alfred Ernest Learey, and Alexander Robert Learey. He married Catherine Isabella Callow in 1897. They had children Geoffrey Evelyn Learey and Gladys Isabella Learey. He would also marry Mary Amelia Lowndes in 1917. William Learey died at age 73 years old in 1942 in Jerilderie, Murrumbidgee Council County, NSW.
