She married Frederick Smye, and had children Elizabeth Sarah"Dot"Greenaway ( Newell ( Chettle ( Smye and Frederick Joseph Smye. Alice Smye died at age 83 years old on June 29, 1954 in Carnegie, VIC Australia.

    The Melbourne Leader, 12 November 1892. SMYE - WILSON. On the 13th October, at the residence of the bride's parents, Main street, Bairnsdale, by the Rev. E. G. Veal, Frederick Smye, of the Victorian Railways, youngest son of J. Smye, of Eaglehawk, to Alice, youngest daughter of William Wilson, Bairnsdale.

    The Argus, Melbourne, 29 June 1954. SMYE, Alice. - On June 27, at her home, 23 Wanalta road, Glenhuntly, dearly loved wife of the late Frederick Smye, and loving mother of Elizabeth ( Mrs. Greenaway ), and Frederick, in her 85th year. Father and mother reunited. ( Private interment ).
