She was married to Carmelo Gutto, and they were together until Carmelo's death in October 1979. She had children Michael Gutto, Frank Gutto, Dominick D Gutto, Mary Gutto, Carmen Gutto, and Josephine JoAnn Anna Gutto. Anna Gutto died at age 85 years old on July 29, 1984 in Kearny, and was buried at Holy Cross Cemetery Ridge Rd, in North Arlington, Bergen County.

    ANNA L. GUTTO, 85, EX-RESIDENT OF BAYONNE Anna L. Gutto, 85, a housewife, died yesterday in West Hudson Hospital, Kearny. Born in Italy, Mrs. Gutto was a resident of Bayonne for 30 years. She also lived in Jersey City for 20 years, and in Kearny for the past 14 years. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Cecilia Church in Kearny. Wilfred Armitage Funeral Home, Kearny is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. - The Jersey Journal (Jersey City, New Jersey) Monday, July 30, 1984 on page 20.
