Daniel Earl Allen Sr. 1890 - 1984

Daniel Earl Allen Sr. of Glenwood, Mills County, Iowa United States was born on February 4, 1890 in Glenwood to Nancy Caroline Allen and Franklin John Allen. He married Sarah Evelyn Phillips on August 31, 1911 in Plattsmouth, Cass County, Nebraska and they later divorced on May 25, 1922 in Mills County. He married Ethel May Herrick on January 4, 1923 in Omaha, Douglas County, Nebraska and they later divorced on May 12, 1927 in Mills County. He and Violet Pearl Allen married on December 21, 1929 in Fremont, Dodge County, Nebraska and they later divorced on June 7, 1939 in Mills County. They had children Elinore Jean Griffiths, Dan Earl Allen Jr., and Franklin Robert Allen. He and Dorothy Violet Allen married in July 1939. They had a child Donald Dean Thornton. Daniel Allen died at age 94 years old on April 15, 1984 in Glenwood.
