Dorothy Violet Allen 1916 - 1997

Dorothy Violet (Youman) Allen of Glenwood, Mills County, Iowa United States was born on February 22, 1916 in Glenwood to Laura Grace Thornton and Isaac Newton Youman. Dorothy Allen had a brother Archie Galen Youman. She married Earl Nicholas Trimmer on September 18, 1935 in Council Bluffs, Pottawattamie County and they later divorced on December 14, 1936 in Mills County. She married Daniel Earl Allen Sr. in July 1939. They had a child Donald Dean Thornton. Dorothy Allen died at age 81 years old on May 18, 1997 in Glenwood.
