Laura Grace Thornton 1885 - 1932

Laura Grace (Gallagher) Thornton of Council Bluffs, Pottawattamie County, Iowa United States was born on November 29, 1885 in Valley Township, Page County to Mary Elizabeth Youman and James Nelson Gallagher. Laura Thornton had siblings Dora America Smith, Mary Elizabeth Gallagher, Amos Uriah Gallagher, and John Emery Gallagher. She married James Milton Mayall on November 17, 1902 in Clarinda, Page County and they later divorced on July 9, 1906 in Mills County. They had a child Violet Pearl Allen. She would also marry Isaac Newton Youman on November 23, 1908 in Glenwood, Mills County, and they were married until Isaac's death in 1915. They had children Archie Galen Youman and Dorothy Violet Allen. She and Charles Logan Thornton married on August 3, 1922 in Nebraska City, Otoe County, Nebraska, and they were married until Charles' death on July 14, 1929 in Omaha, Douglas County. They had a child Gerald Calvin Thornton. Laura Thornton died at age 46 years old on September 16, 1932 in Omaha.
