Violet Pearl Allen 1906 - 1990

Violet Pearl (Mayall) Allen of Glenwood, Mills County, Iowa United States was born on December 29, 1906 in Lincoln, NE to Laura Grace Thornton and James Milton Mayall. She married Marion Guy Johnson on September 22, 1923 in Council Bluffs, Pottawattamie County, Iowa. They had children Mary May Johnson and Marion Guy Johnson. She would also marry Jewell Blaine Bacon on March 31, 1928 in Rock Port, Atchison County, Missouri and they later divorced on July 27, 1929 in Pottawattamie County, Iowa. She and Daniel Earl Allen Sr. married on December 21, 1929 in Fremont, Dodge County and they later divorced on June 7, 1939 in Mills County, Iowa. They had children Elinore Jean Griffiths, Dan Earl Allen Jr., and Franklin Robert Allen. Violet Allen died at age 83 years old on November 20, 1990 in Council Bluffs, and was buried at Glenwood Cemetery in Glenwood, Mills County.
