Only 23 when he passed, David Thomas was born in Southern California and after spending several years in grade school in Texas, he returned to attend high school in Southern California. Although there is no record of his having lived in Bakersfield, California, he is buried there in an unmarked grave. According to IMDb, actor David V. Thomas was born on March 13, 1987 in Los Angeles. The actor is known for the 2006 film "Gridiron Gang", "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift", a 2006 film, and "StreetRider2: The Documentary", 2013. He was also a rap artist, performing under the name "King David" on the hit single "Club Banger" (2008) on the album "DPE is in the House" on Digital Phunc Records. David Thomas' father, John Floyd Thomas, was a suspected notorious criminal in the Los Angeles area, which was discovered when David Victor Thomas was arrested for jolting a woman with a stun gun. Suspect in Stun-Gun Attack is Son of Alleged Serial Killer
It was a “shocking” crime with a stun gun. A man was arrested for jolting a woman with the weapon.

Now there is a stunning twist. The suspect is the son of an accused serial killer.

David Victor Thomas, 22, was arrested on Jan. 27 for the stun gun attack in the 4800 block of Melrose Avenue in Hollywood.

He shot the woman in the back of her neck with a stun gun, pulled her to the ground and tried to take her purse, police said.

Surveillance video of the attack was shown on television. Witnesses chased Thomas and held him until officers arrived.

As police started to investigate the suspect, they came to the conclusion that he has an infamous father.

Hollywood Division Lt. Bob Binder told the Los Angeles Times that the suspect is the son of John Floyd Thomas, who allegedly raped and killed older women in the 1970s and '80s on Los Angeles' Westside and in the Inland Valley. He is accused of being the "Westside rapist" serial killer.

The 73-year-old Thomas currently faces a total of seven murder counts. Authorities said he could be responsible for as many as 30 homicides. The so-called Westside rapist attacked white seniors in neighborhoods from Hollywood to Inglewood, police said.

As for the younger Thomas, he is on parole for a drug-related charge and is classified as a non-violent offender.
