He married Dianne (Bailey) Glanville in 1955 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, and they were married until Douglas' death on September 27, 2017 in Salt Lake City. He had children Dean Bailey Glanville and Jeffrey Lynn Glanville. Douglas Glanville was buried at Cremated.
