Eliza Stretch Leake was born on March 19, 1817 in Millville, Cumberland County, New Jersey United States to Nathan Leake Jr. and Ruth Garrison, and had siblings Emma Leake, William Garrison Leake, Nathan Leake, Samuel Fithian Leake, Ruth Leake, James Madison Leake, Charles Garrison Leake, and Ephraim Fithian Leake. Eliza Leake died at age 41 years old circa 1858.
