Nathan Leake Jr. was born on April 7, 1771 in Deerfield, Cumberland County, New Jersey United States to Nathan Leake and Hannah Fithian, and had siblings David Leake, Amy Leake, Rachel Leake, Phebe Leake, Ruth F. Leake, Rebecca Leake, and Ephraim Leake. He married Ruth Garrison, and had children Emma Leake, William Garrison Leake, Nathan Leake, Samuel Fithian Leake, Ruth Leake, James Madison Leake, Eliza Stretch Leake, Charles Garrison Leake, and Ephraim Fithian Leake. Nathan Leake died at age 65 years old on November 25, 1836 in Deerfield.
