She married William"Norman"Olson, and had a child Reta Ellen Margery (Olson) O'Brien. Ellen Olson died at age 98 years old on April 4, 1985 in Blairgowrie Nursing Home, Camberwell, Boroondara City County.

Loved wife of William ( dec. ), loved mother of Reta, grandmother of Valerie, Marie, Joan, Mervyn, Elaine, Verna, Bernie, Frank and Claire, great- grandmother of their 26 children and great great- grandmother of their 11 children. Passed away peacefully in her 99th year. Rest in peace our beloved "Ma"
