Ellen Mary (Shingler) Kemp 1856 - 1940

Ellen Mary (Shingler) Kemp was born on August 30, 1856 in Magpie, Ballarat City County, VIC Australia to Eliza Jane (Gadsden) Shingler and Charles Joseph Shingler, and had siblings Edith Shingler, Frederick George Shingler, William Jeffrey Shingler, Alfred John Shingler, Albert Henry Shingler, and Herbert Wilfred Shingler. She was in a relationship with Francis Thomas Kemp, and had children Ellen Bertha Terang (Kemp) Olson, Francis Charles Trawalla"Walter" Kemp, Harold Hopetoun Beaumont Kemp, Edward Albert Harcourt Kemp, and Arthur Phillip Percival Kemp. Ellen Kemp died at age 83 years old on June 30, 1940 in Mentone, Kingston City County, and was buried at Coburg Pine Ridge Cemetery in Preston, Darebin City County.
