Korong, in Wedderburn, VIC Australia to Robert Twiddy and Susanna (Wooding) Twiddy, and had siblings Esther (Twiddy) Roberts, John Twiddy, Rebecca (Twiddy) Gregson, Alice Maud (Twiddy) Petterd, Albert Twiddy, Maurice Twiddy, and Cornelius Twiddy. She married John Gardiner Starr, and had children Aleathea Williams ( Starr and Emma Jones ( Starr. Emma Starr died at age 88 years old on March 8, 1951 in Benalla, and was buried in March 1951 at Fawkner Memorial Park and Crematorium 1187 Sydney Rd, in Fawkner.

    THE BENALLA ENSIGN. March 1951. OBITUARY. Mrs. Emma Starr. The death occured at Benalla on Thursday, March 8, of Mrs. Emma Starr, at the age of 88 years. She was a daughter of the late Robert and Susanna Twiddy, and was born at Wedderburn. She was married at Melbourne 58 years ago to Mr. John Gardiner Starr, who predeceased her some years ago. Two daughters, Aleathea ( Mrs. Vigar Williams, Wangaratta ), and Emma ( Mrs. Oswald Jones, Launceston ) survive their mother. Burial took place at the Melbourne Fawkner Crematorium on Friday last. Rev. E. Badger performed the ceremony.
