She had siblings Elizabeth Jane (Letcher) Lovekin, Ada Margaret Letcher, Jessie Letcher, Dr. Herbert Richard Letcher, William James Letcher, Ernest Albert Letcher, and John Hosking Letcher. Esther Letcher died at age 24 years old in 1899 in Prahran.
