    Ethel Louella (Williams) Smith, age 75, of Versailles, passed away Saturday morning, April 23, 2005 at her home. She was born July 7, 1929 at Boonville, Missouri, the daughter of Golden and Lydia Alma (Vaughan) Williams. She was united in marriage on September 8, 1966 in Independence, Missouri with Burnice Smith, who survives of the home. Mrs. Smith was a homemaker and member of the Barnett Baptist Church. In addition to her husband she is survived by two sons, Ronnie Smith of Barnett, and Mike Smith of Stover; one daughter, Melva Vogt of Versailles; one brother, Thomas C. Williams of Versailles; two sisters, Juanita Campbell of Gravois Mills, and Patricia Farris of Jefferson City; eleven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by one son, Darrell Wayne Smith, and two brothers, George Williams and Merl Williams. Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 27, at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles, with Reverend Everett Rayl officiating. Vocal selections of "One Day At A Time" and "Beyond The Sunset" were played. Interment was in the Hopewell Cemetery near Versailles. Memorials are suggested to the Barnett Baptist Church. Arrangements were under the direction of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles.
