Harold Ellsworth Scarlett of Valley Falls, Jefferson County, KS was born on May 11, 1903 in Atchison, Atchison County to Ellsworth Leondas Scarlett and Helena Alfreda Lassen. He had siblings Homer Fredrick Scarlett, Hazel Louise Scarlett, Elva Helen Scarlett, Alma Gertrude Scarlett, and Marie Anna Scarlett. He was in a relationship with Grace Ferrell, and had children Marlin Keith Scarlett, Harlin Dale Scarlett, Alma Arlene, Neola LaVerne, Marilyn June Scarlett, Anita Ruth Scarlett, Leota Jean Scarlett, Harold DeVere Scarlett, Leah Jane Scarlett, Helen Maxine Scarlett, Everette Edward Scarlett, Gary Lee Scarlett, and John Ellsworth Scarlett. Harold Scarlett died at age 73 years old on February 14, 1977 in Winchester, Jefferson County.
