Herman Wade Howell Obituary
Services for Herman Wade Howell, 88, of Middleton are 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 12, at Shackelford Funeral Directors Bolivar chapel with Rev. Bertie Moore officiating. Burial is in Hebron Cemetery in Middleton with Randy Doyle, James McKee, Ray Ervin, Tommy Stamey, Lynn Mills, Rick Ray, Paul Howell, Oscar Goin and Ben Ervin serving as casket bearers.
Mr. Howell died Sunday, October 10 at JMCGH.

The husband of Virginia Doyle Howell, who survives, he was a farmer. Mr. Howell was born November 26, 1915 in Middleton, son of the late Richard Edward Howell and Hattie Marshall Howell and lived there all of his life. He served in the U. S. Army during the WWII Pacific Campaign for 30 months as a medic in India. Mr. Howell was a member of Hebron Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife, whom he married January 18, 1946, survivors include one sister, Opal Ray of Bartlett. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Eddie, Gerald and Floyd Howell.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until service time. Memorials may be directed to the Hebron Baptist Church Building Fund or the American Heart Association.
