    James R. Wilson's parents were Clyde L. Wilson and Lottie M Branson Wilson. He had brother Clyde L. and sister Charlotte Wilson. When James was 28, he was living in Jackson Mississippi, and he was working for Jackson State National Bank in Jackson. He was 5 feet 11.5 inches tall and weighed 155 pounds. He had brown eyes, black hair, and a "light" complexion. He married Marjorie J. Fritz on December 19, 1966 in Olathe, Kansas. They had son, James Jr. and daughter Judith Wilson. James also had two stepsons - Robert and Joseph Dryden and two stepdaughters - Pamela and Karen Dryden. Retired from the United State Army Air Corps, James was a Major and a veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict. In 1979, he moved in Flippen, Arkansas, from Bandera Texas and was a former volunteer and board member of Hospice of the Ozarks and was a deacon at the First Christian Church.     The following obituary was in the Mountain Home, Arkansas "Baxter Bulletin" on Wednesday, November 28, 2001: James R. Wilson, 78 A funeral for James R. Wilson will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Juergens officiating. Military honors will be by North Central Arkansas Verans Council, American Legion Alley White Post 52. Mr. Wilson died Saturday, November 24, 2001, at Little Rock. He was 78. He was born Aug. 24, 1923, at Dallas, Texas, to Clyde L. and Lottie Branson Wilson. He married Marjoried J. Fritz on Dec. 19, 1966, at Olathe, Kan. He was a retired U.S. Army Air Corps major and a veteran of World War II and Korea. He was a resident of Flippin since moving from Bandera, Texas, in 1979. He was a former volunteer and board member of Hospice of the Ozarks, was a former deacon at the First Christian Church and enjoyed fishing and cooking. He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Wilson of Flippin; a son, James R. Wilson Jr. and wife, Cathy, of California; a daughter, Judith A. Wilson of Golden, Colorado; two stepsons, Robert G. Dryden Jr. of Garland, Texas, and Joseph T. Dryden of Sugarland, Texas; two stepdaughters, Pamela J. Dryden of Santa Monica, Calif, and Karen E. Dryden of Leawood, Kan; a brother, Clyde L Wilson Jr. of Houston, Texas; a sister, Charlotte Wilson of Little Rock; nine grandchildren. nine great-grandchildren, three nephews and two nieces. Burial will be private with Jess Phillips, Ott Wood, Lyle Wood, Mike Hodges and Phil Thompson as honorary pallbearers. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks.
