James Stanley Brereton of Coburg, City of Merri-bek County, VIC Australia was born on December 9, 1892 in Smythesdale to Henry James Brereton and Mary Ann (Campbell) Brereton. He had siblings Charlotte Isobelle Brereton, Agnes May (Brereton) Rogers, Elsie Jane Brereton, Walter Theodore Brereton, Campbell Albert Brereton, John Henry "Jack" Brereton, Harold Rueben "Harry" Brereton, Alfred Thomas Brereton, and Arthur William Brereton. He married Nanc Emildred Elliott in 1916, and had a child Nancy Jean Brereton. James Brereton died at age 91 years old on December 9, 1983 in Coburg.
