Introduction

John and my grandmother June Dell De Coster (nee Marsh), met and fell in love while John was training for the army in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. They were married shortly after they met on January 16 1943 at St. James' church, when they were both 21 years old. The marriage was short lived, as John passed away 4 months later after being shot down by the germans.
