He had siblings John Curtis Smith, Arthur Cecil Smith, Susie Elloway (Smith) Lambert, Edna Higgins, Theodus Smith, Frank Smith, and Evalee Smith. He married Mary Emily (Dingler) and they later divorced. He had a child Mark Lynn Smith. L-G-B Smith died at age 62 years old on May 9, 1989 in Altoona, Etowah County, and was buried on May 9, 1989 at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Gallant, USA County.

Even in the 1930 U.S. census they have him as L. G. Smith aged 3.
Might have to contact a relative.

I think his wife might have remarried to Reaves or Reeves.
