Lucretia Lewis died at age 50 years old in June 1918 in Boston, Suffolk County, MA, and was buried at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett, Middlesex County.

    Lewis, Neale / Newell, Morley, Morrison, were part of the Mi'kmaq peoples' diaspora from Mi'kma'ki in the late 1800s. Lucretia Catherine Lewis, the daughter of Jane Eleanor Newell and Frederick James Lewis Jr of Wunamaki (Cape Breton NS), married East Boston, Suffolk MA to John Charles Morley (1860 - 1940). They were the parents of at least six children, four daughters (Etta Louise, Martha Irene, Ruth Eleanor, Blanche Lillian) and two sons (Ralph L., Robert I.) all born MA.
