Marlene Diane (Layeski Olsian) Anderson was born on May 31, 1952 in New Brunswick, Middlesex County, New Jersey United States to Peter Edward Layeski and Jane Theresa Layeski, and had siblings Richard Peter Layeski, Charlotte Jean Bird, and Phyllis Ann Cudworth. She married Robert James Olsian in 1972 in East Brunswick, Middlesex County and they later divorced in 1978 in New Brunswick. She married John David Anderson Sr. on May 22, 1980 in East Brunswick, Middlesex County, and they were married until Marlene's death on September 2, 2022 in Flemington, Hunterdon County.

    Marlene ''Molly'' Anderson,age 70 years,of Raritan Township,NJ,died peacefully on Friday,September 2,2022,at home surrounded by her loving family and under the caring watch of Hunterdon Hospice. Born in New Brunswick,NJ, May 31,1952,she was the daughter of the late Peter E. and Jane Konopacki Layeski. Raised in South River,NJ,Molly attended and graduated from the Woodbridge Fashion Technical High School in 1970,where she received her education in fashion and design. She was a talented seamstress,loved cooking,baking,and traveling. Molly and her true love,John,bought a home in Flemington,NJ,in 1979. John and Marlene joined hands in holy matrimony on May 22,1980. They truly found their forever soulmate and enjoyed 42 years of marriage. Together they enjoyed traveling to Virginia to the Chincoteague Oyster Festival,where they would have oysters steamed or on the half shell. Their life together embodies the words of one of Molly's favorite inspiration writers,Louise Hay, "I am thankful for all the love in my life." Molly was a compassionate,loving and empathetic individual who would do anything for anyone. As Hay also wrote " I have come to this planet to learn to love myself more,and to share that love with all those around me." She especially loved sharing her delicious treats after baking rhubarb pie or carrot cake. Surviving,in addition to her cherished husband of 42 years,John,are her brother Richard Layeski and his wife,Judy;two sisters,Charlotte Bird and her husband,Gil and Phyllis Cudworth and her husband,Don;two stepchildren;five grandchildren;three great-grandchildren;many nieces and nephews;and many dear friends. All are invited to join the family for a visitation on Wednesday,September 7,2022,from 2:00-4:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Wright & Ford Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services,38 State Highway 31,Flemington,NJ. Life Celebration Services officiated by Msgr. David I. Fulton will take place Wednesday,September 7,2022 at 4:00 P.M.,and to which all are welcome. Burial will take place privately. You are encouraged to visit Molly's permanent life celebration site at www.wrightfamily.com to light a candle of hope,leave message of condolence,share words of comfort and recollection,and post photographs of her life. Memorial contributions in her honor may be made to Hunterdon Hospice,via mail at 215 Route 31 South,Flemington,NJ 08822,or online by clicking here.
