Annie Louise Corringham

I have three old studio photographs belonging to the CORRINGHAM Family of California and Hawaii. The first is a photograph of Annie Louise CORRINGHAM which was taken at the Elite Studio in San Francisco, CA. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1880's with Annie likely about 9-10 years old at the time. A note on the back indicates that Annie is the "girl Grandma FOLLIS helped raise".

The second and third photographs are of Annie Louise CORRINGHAM and her two sons. These photographs were taken at the Williams Studio in Honolulu, HI. Annie appears to be in her 30’s and the two boys about 6-7 years old at the time the photograph was taken. The photograph is dated January 1903.

Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding this family:

Annie Louise CORRINGHAM b. 8 Aug 1873 in San Francisco, CA to parents John Thomas CORRINGHAM (b. 1836) and Friederike Charlotte BEISENS (1838-1900). Her mother was married previously and had three children including Gustave Albert Edward; Charles; and William Frederick George SCHIMMELFENNIG, all born between 1857 and 1864.

Annie married twice, first to Daniel William ROACH (1863-1900) on 5 Aug 1895 in Honolulu, HI and they two sons, William W. ROACH (b. 1897) and John Arthur ROACH (1899-1971). Her second marriage was to Charles A. BIDINGER (b. 1866) on 6 Jun 1905 in Honolulu, HI. Annie died 20 Oct 1939 and is buried in the Cypress Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Colma, CA.

I am hoping to get the photographs to Annie’s family so that they can only again be cherished family possessions.
