Who knows anything about a german Bakery in NY Brooklyn, Kings County? Owner was Richard and Bertha (Betty) Hummel. They had children. I know about 3 daughters and 1 son. Eleonor Hummel born *1920 Brunhilde Hummel born *1921 Berthal Hummel born *1926 Richard Hummel junior born *1936 Richard Hummel senior was born in 1898 and died on Jan. 27, 1972. Home Adress in the 1940's was: 495 Central Avenue, Brooklyn, New York, Kings, USA Later on, Betty lived at: Flushing, Queens County, New York. My grandparents owned A bakery in Brooklyn. My mother Bertha Hummel work there as a teenager. The photos are my grandparents,aunts, and uncle.

I want to build a place where my son can meet his great-grandparents. My grandmother Marian Joyce (Benning) Kroetch always wanted to meet her great-grandchildren, but she died just a handful of years before my son's birth. My father's side is full blood Sicilian and my mother's side is a combination of Welsh, Scottish, German and a few other European cultures. One of my more colorful (ahem black sheep) family members came over on the Mayflower. He was among the first to be hanged in the New World for a criminal offense he made while onboard the ship.
