Brandy Southard, John B. Tyler Jr and Cathy Tyler

Brandy Rene Southard was born to William "Brad" Braddy Southard and Rita Fay Southard (note: in the death certificate the names of the parents are incorrectly written down as Sutherland). She was murdered by John Matthew Stephenson who killed her along with John Jay Tyler (age 29) and Kathy Tyler (age 29) when Jay and Kathy picked up Brandy from her work in Evansville and he chased them to an intersection in rural Warrick County. He emptied a 30 round SKS Assault Rifle into the pickup truck and their bodies. He then proceeded to repeatedly stab them. According to the Indiana State Department of Health's Certificate of Death her cause of death is listed as "Hemothorax and cerebral disruption due to gunshot wounds to head and stab wounds to chest."
