While looking for work he walked on to Russell Crawfords Farm in Brookings South Dakota.This is were he met my great grandmother Jessie Myra Crawford. She was born Jan.23,1877 my grandfather told me she was the first white women born in Medary Villiage Dakota Territory. She is the daughter of Russell M & Lois D.(newton)Crawford
