Charles Lewis Doubek
I have an old studio photograph identified as Charlie DOUBEK which was taken at the Taylor Studio in Cresco, IA sometime in the early 1900's. Charlie appears to be about 2-3 years old at the time the photograph was taken. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Charlie and his family:

Charles “Charlie” Lewis DOUBEK was b. 15 Dec 1908 in Howard Co., IA to parents Frank J. DOUBEK (1879-1960) and Lillian Mary KACER (1884-1944) who were married on 3 Jun 1902 in Howard Co., IA. Charlie was one of four children born to these parents including James Joseph; Francio “Frank” Frederick; Charlie; and Adeline or Adala Mary DOUBEK, all born between 1904 and 1912. Charlie married Viola J. VOBR (1920-1971) on 24 Sept 1940 in Cresco, IA and they had a son. Charlie died on 15 Sept 1964 in Cresco, IA and is buried in the Calvary Cemetery in that city.

I would like to see the photograph returned to a family member and would appreciate you contacting me if you are a member of this family or know someone who might be.

Thanks,
Shelley
Date & Place: at Taylor Studio in Cresco, Howard County, Iowa 52136, United States
