Barbara and Lilias Moore by their tree - Christmas 1913 in British Columbia Canada. Lilias was born in 1906 and died in May of 1997. Barbara was born in 1907 and died in December 1997. They had another sister, Agnes, born 1909 and a brother John, born 1911, who aren't in the picture. As the eldest, maybe they enjoyed the tree more? It looks like real candles on the tree - I know that my grandmother, born in 1908, talked of candles on their Christmas tree in England.
