Conrad and Beulah Parsley

A photo of Beulah Fae Parsley and her baby brother, C. Conrad "Cub" Parsley. This photo was taken in about 1938. It could have been early spring. They were the children of Charles "Charlie" and Ruth (Bowling) Parsley in Laurel County, Kentucky. Conrad Parsley got his nickname 'Cub' from the outfit he is wearing in this photo. It was made from poodle cloth (from wool?) and his mom said he looked just a like a cubby bear.
Date & Place: in London, Laurel County, Kentucky United States

My grandfather’s nickname was Cub also. I don’t know why. Everyone is gone that would know. He died when my Dad was 6, so my Fad doesn’t know either!
