Francis Ludicke- Inglewood High School

Francis Merle Ludicke was born on September 19, 1920 in Deshler, Thayer, Nebraska, United States to parents Alfred O Ludicke and Agnes E Krutz. He grew up in Spring Creek, Thayer, Nebraska with a brother and a sister, Adalen Ludicke. In the mid 1930's their family moved to California and resided in Inglewood, California, USA. There, Francis attended and graduated from Inglewood High School. Shortly out of high school, on June 12, 1939 Francis married Margaret R Larson (1916–1974) and the couple moved to Las Vegas, Clark, Nevada, USA. The couple later separated. At the time of his draft registration on February 15, 1942, he was 21 years old and resided in Las Vegas, Clark, Nevada. Francis then enlisted in the Army on September 30, 1943, in Salt Lake City, Utah. His rank was Private, and he was assigned to the Selectees (Enlisted Men) component. On October 21, 1943, Francis officially joined the Army. His enlistment branch was the Army, and he served as a Private. Francis served his country until his discharge on April 1, 1946. Francis re-married on May 17, 1975 in Inyo, California, United States to Marguerite Laurine Dahl (1919–2004). The couple lived in Bishop, Inyo, California, USA until Francis's passing on April 21, 1988.
