Frederick W. Stewart
I have an old postcard photograph identified as Frederick W. STEWART of Metamora, Indiana with an unidentified woman. I'm guessing that the photograph was taken some time between 1907 and 1924 with Frederick and the woman both appearing to be in their teens or 20's at the time the photograph was taken.

Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Frederick and his family:

Frederick “Fred” William STEWART was b. 21 Feb 1888 in Peppertown, IN to parents Jacob W. or M. STEWART (1858-1941) and Theresia or Theresa or Teresia Maria BLENZINGER or BLAUSINGER or BLENZIGER (1858-1948) who were married 26 Aug 1884 in Franklin County, IN. Fred was one of 5 children born to this couple including Pearl May Rose; Frederick William; Madin W.; Anna R.; and Carolina Levina STEWART, all born between 1886 and 1892.

Fred married Mertel or Muriel Violet WHITE on 7 Apr 1922 or 1923 in Franklin County, IN, and they had a son, Frederick William STEWART Jr. (1923-1952). Fred died 30 Jul 1928 in Anderson Township, Rush County, IN and is buried in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Brookville, IN. I am guessing that the woman in the photograph is his wife or one of his sisters.

I’d like to get the photograph to a family member and would appreciate you contacting me if you are a member of this family or know someone who might be.

Thanks,
Shelley
