Gathering in Dayton, OH
I purchased this photo at the flea market in Dayton, OH, and believe that this could have been taken somewhere downtown in the early 1900s. I believe this was taken anywhere from 1910-the early 1920s.

Who are these men, and were they part of some kind of group or club?
Date & Place: in Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio United States

Number one and three (sitting) have books stacked on their laps. Maybe school or training? Back row standing from the left, number seven and eight are not wearing usual style mens hats. They have on uniform police, train, or military hats. Eight looks like he may be wearing a police type hat and uniform but seven looks like he has a military cap with something on the hat above the brim? Maybe metal rank insignia?
