George Everett Henderson

I have an old studio photograph of "Everett" which was taken at the Carbonette National Photo Studio in Boston, MA about 1900. Everett appears to be in his early teens at the time the photograph was taken. The photograph was gifted "Merry Xmas to Mamie" and addressed to Mrs. G. P. HENDERSON at 600 Western Avenue, Lynn, MA. I believe that this is a photograph of George Everett HENDERSON who was the son of Mrs. George Prescott HENDERSON (Mary E. BROWN HENDERSON). Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding the family:

George Everett HENDERSON was b. 16 January 1886 in Dexter, ME to parents George Prescott HENDERSON (b. 1864 in Greenville, ME) and Mary or Marry E. BROWN or MCBAY (b. 1865) who were married 20 Oct 1885 in Dexter, ME. It appears that Everett was an only child. Everett married twice, first on 26 Mar 1902 in Lynn, MA he married Eva M. BENSON (1885-1922) and second on 16 May 1910 in New York City, NY he married Bertha Ruth PIPER (b. 1885) and they had two sons including George E. HENDERSON Jr. (b. 1911) and Baby Boy HENDERSON (1912-1912).

Everett worked as an Electrician in Lynn, MA in 1905 and by 1912 he was working in New Orleans, LA as a Radio Operator. In 1940 he and his wife Ruth were living in Somers Point, NJ and he was working as a Timekeeper and in 1942 they were living in Atlantic City, NJ.
