George Thomas Richardson
George Thomas Richardson was born on September 15, 1824 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia United States. He married Martha Jane (Riddle) on December 21, 1849 in Pittsylvania County, and they were married until Martha's death on July 11, 1857. They had children Mary Elizabeth (Richardson) Henderson and William Thomas Richardson. He would also marry Amanda Jane (Payne) Richardson on December 27, 1857 in Pittsylvania County, and they were married until George's death on December 17, 1894. They had children Daniel Thomas Richardson, Amanda Sarah Richardson, Eliza Ann (Richardson) Yeaman, Julia Ellen (Richardson) Adams, Beverly Carter Richardson, Lucy Rachael (Richardson) Aherron, Henry Lee Richardson, and Ruth Magdalene (Richardson) Ricketts.

Bob (Robert Shore) Richardson
Grew up as Navy junior, travelled worldwide, then as career Marine also. Taught HS and coached when I retired from the Marines.
Dad is from Massachusetts and his family is mostly from Maine. Mom is from Winston-Salem NC and her family is mostly from Blowing Rock area.

I want to build a place where my son can meet his great-grandparents. My grandmother Marian Joyce (Benning) Kroetch always wanted to meet her great-grandchildren, but she died just a handful of years before my son's birth. My father's side is full blood Sicilian and my mother's side is a combination of Welsh, Scottish, German and a few other European cultures. One of my more colorful (ahem black sheep) family members came over on the Mayflower. He was among the first to be hanged in the New World for a criminal offense he made while onboard the ship.
