Group at Johnson Family Home
Description:
This photo was taken at the Johnson Family home, probably about 1912. The picture includes Oliver Perry Johnson, probably a couple of his sisters and Esta and Earl Smith. The house was built around 1860 and still stands at 5276 Old Springfield Rd., Tipp City, OH 45371. Family history states the house with bricks made of clay from the area and fired on the property.

The older man in the bowler and the older woman standing, wearing the striped dress look like they might be the parents. The man down on one knee and the man in the straw boater standing by the back of one of the horses share a definite family resemblance to the older man and older woman...nose, forehead, mouths, even expressions.
