Harriet Willmetta Jones Reid
I have an old studio photograph identified as Harriet Willmetta JONES which was taken at the Lee Studio in York or Stromsburg, NE. The photograph indicates that Harriet is 3 months and 10 days old at the time it was taken and that it was gifted to “Grandpa and Grandma” as well. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Harriet and her family:

Wilmetta Henriett JONES was b. Dec 1894 in Nebraska to parents Warren B. JONES (1870-1958) and Emma Clay FARR (1870-1960). Wilmetta was one of four children born to this couple including, Wilmetta; Herschal Farr; Allen Bernice; and Alta JONES, all born between 1894 and 1900. The family was living in Pleasant Home, NE in 1900 and records indicate that her father was born in Iowa and her mother in Vermont.

Wilmetta married Grover REID (1885-1955) and they had a daughter. Wilmetta died 11 Apr 1966 and is buried in North Battleford Municipal Cemetery in North Battleford, Saskatchewan, Canada.

I would like to get this photograph back to family and would appreciate you contacting me if you are a member of this family or know someone who might be.

Thanks,
Shelley
