Helvi Sanelma Roos was born on March 12, 1920 in Helsinki, Finland to parents Hinna Kanervo and Victor Roos. She immigrated to the United States and lived in California. On December 10, 1943 she married Walter J Lansu. The couple lived in Los Angeles, California. They later divorced in May of 1977. Mrs. Lansu taught English at the John Marshall High School in Los Angeles, California, USA in the 1960's.
