This gentlemen lived with my husbands great grandparents Sophia and William Liston they were helping out while he was going to school at Simpsons College. Before Takeshi they helped and were mentors of Mr. George Washington Carver , we have 97 letters from Mr. Carver to Sophia Liston . So they were good friends. I have been researching Liston mainly but have made some great discoveries like Hanna Liston who married Agrippa Wells is our Great , great aunt they had Harvey Wells. And Lucinda Liston married Anselm H. Barker the first pioneers in Denver building the first cabin. Jesse Liston is our great great grandfather born in Gallia Ohio and moved to Iowa , ended up in Indianola Iowa with wife Rebecca Chenoweth and daughter Clarinda Liston they also had William A Liston. Our great grandfather Jesse Liston also built the first house there in Indianola Iowa and started the first Methodist Episcopal Church. Ebenezer Liston and his Wife Mary frazy are the parent of Jesse, Lucinda , and Hanna and 12 other children that I have info on. Ebenezer Liston was a Methodist Episcopal Minister mainly in Ohio Gallia, and Wilkesville.
