Jean Louis Halkett (1919-1998)

Jean Louis Halkett was born in Eggegem, Belgium and lived there most of his life.

He was a succesful building contractor (stone masonry).

A veteran of WW2 his service was in the artillery (14th and 4th) from 1939 until the end of the war in 1945, Jean Louis's service number was 16417272.

He was married to Josephine Vleminicj (1944-1993) and they had 3 children: Eward (Eddy), Odette Maria, and Renee Paula Wilem

Sadly, Fred Halkett passed away in December, 2006. Fred was a good friend to genealogy and very proud of his own family history. While you will no longer be able to contact him for further information, his submissions and his Family Space will be available for research.
