This is John Dee Davis, b. 12 Jul 1918 in Phoenix, Arizona, son of William Arthur Davis and Nellie Massey (Sutterfield) Davis, grandson of Marcellus Davis and Louisa Ann Scrogum Davis. He served in the Navy during WWII and afterward he was a fireman with the Phoenix Fire Department. He married and had four sons as well as raising four sons of his sister-in-law. He died 14 Mar 2003 in AZ.
