JOHN FRAZEE - my g-g-grandfather
John Frazee was born 5 Feb 1841, in Frankfort, Owen Twp, Clinton Co, Indiana, to James Lytle & Susannah (Harris) Frazee. On 28 Apr 1868, he married Cyrena Sarah Beckwith in Chickasaw County, Iowa. The couple had 6 children - two to die young of diphtheria. He was a student of the Fayette University, and he taught school later in life and held many places of honor and trust. The county elected him Representative to the 25th and 26th General Assembly and he served with dignity and honor. John died 7 Nov 1917, at the old Frazee homestead, in which his son, John D, was living, from a stroke of paralysis. Was buried 10 Nov 1917 in Beckwith Cemetery.
