Joseph Sositko in the military

Joseph Sositko in the Army in the early 1940's. He was born in 1920 in Hamilton, Ohio. The son of Bertha (Zlatykanicz) and John Sositko. I heard he enlisted in the military service in Indiana but his military record on the internet says he enlisted in Fort Thomas Newport, Kentucky on October 14, 1942. It also says he was born in 1921 but that is incorrect.
Joseph "Joe" married Pauline Guyler in 1944.
