Kenneth Leforest Maehler
Kenneth Leforest Maehler was born on Nov 17, 1912 in Alameda, California to parents Earle LeForest Maehler (1884-1963) and Gertrude May Ingraham (1885-1957). He had siblings Kenneth L Maehler who passed away (1908-1908) and this Kenneth was named after, and Normal Earle Maehler (1915-2011). He and his family moved to Chicago, Cook, Illinois, USA in the 1920's and he lived there until 1935 when he moved to Fort Collins, Laramie, Colorado. Kenneth enlisted on February 3, 1941 in San Francisco California and served in the Army until January 6, 1945. He then re-enlsited on Jan 7, 1945 and served for a second time in the US Army until October 16, 1945. On June 30, 1949 he married Justine V Maehler (1923-2006) in Honolulu, Hawaii and the couple lived in Hawaii for a few years before moving back to Northern California.
