Leon Chandler McMannis

I have an old studio photograph of Leon MCMANNIS which was taken at the Wasson Studio in Ithaca, MI sometime in the 1890's. Leon appears to be in his teens at the time the photograph was taken. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Leon and his family:

Leon Chandler MCMANNIS was b. 9 or 10 Nov 1877 in Fulton, MI to parents James Neal MCMANNIS (1832-1892) and Amanda Melvina FOX (1855-1938) who were married 30 Aug 1874 in Washington Township, Gratiot County, MI. Leon had one sibling born to the same parents, a sister Leonia or Lionne or Liona or Leona “Nona” Jane MCMANNIS (1876-1963) and his father had two additional children from a previous marriage, including Zelina “Zena” A. MCMANNIS EDWARDS (1854-1956) and Charles Edgar MCMANNIS (1859-1883).

Leon married Sarah Lois BROWN (1884-1971) and he 5 Feb 1950 in Los Angeles, CA and is buried in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Glendale, CA.
