HOLBROOK, LEWIS “BUD”
It is with great sadness that the family of Lewis “Bud” Holbrook announces his passing on December 14, 2023 at the age of 85.
Bud was born and raised in Gallatin, Missouri. He graduated high school in 1955 and married Donna Ray shortly thereafter. Bud and Donna moved to Kansas City, Missouri and began raising their family.
In 1963 seeking better opportunities Bud and Donna moved with their four young children to Los Angeles, California. In 1966 he joined the entertainment union, IATSE Local 33, starting at ABC Television. In 1966 they added to their family and had another daughter. Bud ended his career working at the Universal Amphitheater.
In 1999 Donna passed away. They were married for 42 years. While visiting family and friends in Missouri Bud attended a high school reunion where he became reacquainted with Mary Eads whom he had known since childhood. They married in 2006 and shared their time between California and Missouri for the last 17 years.
Bud is lovingly remembered by his 5 children - Shelly Doherty, Richard Holbrook, Dennis Holbrook, Susan Siegel, Sandy Arangio and their spouses. Bud will also be remembered by his 7 grandchildren - Casey, Julie, Shannon, Scott, Woody, Taylor, and Christopher, and 4 great-grandchildren - Payten, Theodore, Knox, and Sunday.

Bud is survived by his sister Joan Lukehart of New Mexico and will undoubtedly be remembered by numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and dear friends.
