Lydia (Fuerst) Zimmerman
A photo of Grandma Lydia (Fuerst) Zimmerman, in front of her house. My great grandmother, who lived to be a few months shy of 100 years old. She worked almost as hard as the employees in the nursing home she was in, helping in the kitchen, doing laundry, making beds, feeding patients who couldn't feed themselves, visiting with patients who were sicker than usual. Grandma Zimmerman found out the family was planning a surprise 100th birthday party for her, and she died a few days later.
